How can I convert a DSS dictation file to mp3?-Am new to using a Mac and my last place of work I used a PC with Speechexec dictation software. I need to convert some of the old dictation files to play on either QuickTime or iTunes etc. Anyone any idea?
Ever encountered the above issue? If so, this passage will make you get rid of this problem. Firstly, let’s get to know what DSS is.
DSS, short for Digital Speech Standard, developed in 1994, works as a compressed recording audio format, having basic recording functions. Different to MP3, DSS has lower quality, but smaller size. More importantly, DSS is incompatible with many devices. In order to play DSS in iPhone, iPad, iPod, iTunes, etc., what we need is to convert DSS to MP3.
Below is a step-by-step guide on how to convert DSS to MP3 with the DSS to MP3 Converter.
Free download the professional DSS to MP3 converter, install and run it, the following interface will pop up.
This powerful DSS to MP3 converter is specialized in audio format converting, particularly uncommon audio format like DSS, AMR, AAC, AU, AIF, RAW, DVF, VOX, CDA, GSM, etc.
